OMP GROUP was founded in 1964. The initials OMP originally meant Oulun Maanrakennuspojat which directly translates into Oulu's land construction boys. The company grew to be a major conglomerate that offered engineering activities as well as land, water, housing and industrial construction. The company carried out major international construction and infrastructure projects in Finland, the Nordic countries, Russia and Saudi Arabia. Later OMP has been known for engineering works and as an industrial maintenance company.
